Golf in Kaprun
The Zell am See-Kaprun region is home to one of the largest golf courses in the Austrian Alps, one of the most beautiful golf clubs in Austria and two flat 18-hole courses at the foot of the mighty Hohe Tauern Mountains.
climbing in Kaprun
The two rock climbing areas of Rettenwand & Grünsteinfindling on the Kitzsteinhorn mountain are just a 25-minute walk from the Alpine Centre, where you can find out about the routes and pick up topographical maps.
More climbing can be found near the Mooserboden reservoirs: the Klettersteigarena Höhenburg and the Mobo107 via ferrata route on the sheer dam wall.
If the weather is bad, there is the indoor climbing centre with lots of rock climbing and bouldering routes for all abilities. To use the indoor climbing centre you must be a member of Naturfreunde Salzburg.
Tennis in Kaprun
The Zell am See-Kaprun region has a number of public and private tennis courts.
Equipment can be hired from the sports shop Intersport Bründl as well as a number of other sports shops in the region.
