Customs, traditions, music and, of course, local food make the local village festival in Kaprun a great highlight of the year for visitors and residents alike. There will be plenty of traditional clothing and thigh-slapping fun, with music provided by local brass bands.
Sport spectacle in Zell am See - Kaprun
The IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun is an event for all the family. The weekend begins with the women-only IRONGIRL Run. On Saturday it is the youngsters who are invited to showcase their skills in swimming, running and biking as part of the IRONKIDS competition. Sunday is then race day for the IRONMAN elite and age group athletes. Don't miss out on one of Europe's best triathlon events attended by thousands of spectactors.

The Sigmund Thun Klamm is a spectacular gorge in Kaprun. This event invites you to explore it by night with hand-held burning torches before settling down around a campfire.

In July, Kaprun is transformed into a breathtaking medieval backdrop inviting visitors to journey back in time to the Middle Ages. Medieval-style food, music, attractions, tournaments and handicrafts make for a truly authentic experience.
